memoria y las visionarias

This assemblage serves as a documentary record of Las Visionarias / The Visionaria Network, made across the span of a longitudinal development project in Peru’s Sacred Valley focusing on the sustainable development and the empowerment of Quechuan females in the Peruvian Andes. The work is sequenced here as fragments: the city, the project, the girls, the people, nature, the animals.

What remains, more than any single image or moment, is the accretion of a memory built the way sediment builds: unevenly, in layers, each pass changing what was laid down before.
