interruption
Ours is an experiential poverty: everything optimized, accelerated, monetized down to the blink.
This assemblage doesn't offer an escape from that. Rather it creates interruptions within: a screen that breathes and pulses instead of scrolling, a browser that slips the leash into abstract color field territory, smoke holding light long enough to seem solid, soot carried by melting snow onto paper, static lingering after the message has disappeared.
Nothing here resolves & nothing here asks to be understood. Only to be stayed with - long enough for the impulse to move on to soften. Long enough to notice that attention changes with time.
