i dance to tv snow was creating during a MALFunction (residency at CU’s Media Archaeology Lab), this work presents televisions broadcasting only static in an endless loop. Suspended between signal and silence, absence and presence, television snow becomes a space for contemplation -a meditation on waiting, on the persistence of media after its message has disappeared, and on our enduring impulse to search for meaning in the noise.
